From Jacksonville University, Brown was selected by Boston Celtics in the NBA Draft 1990 in position 19 . For twelve seasons (1990-2002) in the NBA, played for the Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic, scoring a total of 6758 points over his career. His moment of fame came during the All-Star 1990 Slam Dunk Competition, winning the “no-look dunk” (matte shading his eyes with his hands), swelling in advance of his shoe for greater leap.
