Law School (UBA)
Law School (UBA) School of Law is one of thirteen that comprise the University of Buenos Aires. Established in 1874, since 1949 is located on Avenida Figueroa Alcorta 2263, in Buenos Aires neighborhood of Recoleta. It delivered three courses of studies (Advocacy, Public Translator and calligrapher) and is one of the most popular because, according to data from 2004, 32,953 students enrolled in it. The government of the Faculty is composed of a Board of Directors and a Dean. The Council is comprised of 8 representatives of teachers, 8 and 4 graduate students, and the position of Dean is exercised since 2002 by Atilio Alterini.
